Cover Letter 4
On our website, The Values of Literact in the World Today we are telling our readers how much they should value the opportunity to learn to read and write. We argue that people take for granit the ability to be literate because for most people it is a way of life and they don't realize not everyone has the privilege to learn these skills. We talk about how the basis of learning starts out with reading and writing and without it we couldn't learn anything. Examples we use are that people from earlier centuries did not have the privileges that we do and either do people in other countries. We also share our own personal stories of what we remember of becoming literate. Another thing we did was ask some old english teachers their opinions on the values of literacy and literacy sponsors (some haven't responded yet). I think we did a good job of making the sections clear and easy to find what they want to read. However, we feel we may be missing something. We would like any advice or feedback that you have to make our website better!

I thought the point with this website is that everybody has their own values for literacies. You supported this by explaining each of your own stories, and through the information you gained through the interview. I thought that the use of hierarchy in the website was well done. I could tell what I was going to read before I started because the hierarchy was put together correctly. I also thought that the website flowed very nicely. The only problems that I could find are small grammatical errors such as spelling. But other than that, I thought the website was very informational and I think that is key. Good job.
